For the Peace Palace in The Hague, we designed a series of silk accessories inspired by a special symbol: the dove, a sign of freedom and peace. The sky blue tie with woven dove pattern fits in perfectly with this theme. The dove, which can be seen in the stained glass of the palace, also formed the starting point for the other ties in this collection. Different color combinations were chosen, such as gray and turquoise, each with a unique interpretation of the dove motif, woven in a subtle and stylish way. The result is a varied and characterful series of ties, ideal for visitors who want to take home a meaningful souvenir.
There is also a classic square scarf in 90 x 90 cm format with the same theme. The design is based on the silk wall coverings in the Japanese Room in the Peace Palace. Thanks to digital printing technology, the refined details of the original wall covering are beautifully brought to life on the silk satin scarf.
