If we can make even a small contribution to a more sustainable world, we at Rooymans Neckwear are only too happy to do so. Where we can, we go for sustainable. For example by using alternative materials for our accessories, cooperating with Oeko-Tex certified factories and continuously looking for improvement. Not only in product development and production process, but also in our services.
Accessories made from PET bottles
One of our steps towards sustainable textiles is to produce accessories from recycled PET bottles. Not only a wonderful way to reduce so-called plastic pollution, but also to reduce CO2 emissions. In fact, our “pet scarves,” for example, are produced entirely in Europe, which, among other things, reduces the need for transportation. These scarves come with an original certificate, so you know exactly what you are buying.
Sustainable production
Did you know that we are producing more and more items in Europe and even in the Netherlands? So to your question of whether we can produce sustainably, we can nowadays answer with a 'Yes'. Fortunately.
Sustainable office
The office of Rooymans Neckwear is equipped with solar panels, enabling us to generate our own energy. In addition, we have energy-efficient LED lamps and we separate waste as we should.
With these small steps, we hope to lay a foundation for a more sustainable future. In the coming years we want to make many more steps in this direction. We will of course keep you informed.
