For more than twenty years, Rooymans Neckwear has been developing custom-made accessories for the Rijksmuseum, inspired by masterpieces from its collection. We design and produce ties, scarves, T-shirts, and socks that bring the museum’s art to life in a refined and contemporary way.
One of our recent projects is an exclusive men’s scarf made from 100% pure wool. The design is based on the six principal colors featured in Rembrandt’s painting The Jewish Bride (circa 1667). We also developed a sustainable silk tie inspired by The Threatened Swan by Jan Asselijn. This tie, featuring a subtle swan pattern, is available in the Rijksmuseum’s museum shop.
For those who appreciate wearing art with a touch of wit, we created socks with woven swan motifs. An original and stylish item inspired by the same iconic painting from the Rijksmuseum collection.
Are you interested in developing sustainable accessories that reflect the identity of your organization or museum collection? We would be pleased to collaborate with you. Our team specializes in creating bespoke designs that combine style, craftsmanship, and quality.
