For the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, Rooymans Neckwear developed a distinctive collection of accessories, available exclusively in the museum shop.
Vincent van Gogh’s painting Café Terrace at Night (Place du Forum, 1888) inspired a royal blue tie and matching suspenders. The cobblestone pattern from the painting has been translated into a refined woven design. The reverse of the tie features a full-color printed lining of the artwork, while the suspenders are finished with cognac-colored leather loops for a premium touch.
In addition, we designed four scarves for both women and men. A standout piece is the women’s silk scarf featuring Van Gogh’s Souvenir de Mauve, digitally printed on silk habotai in Italy. The men’s viscose scarf, inspired by Composition 10 in Black and White by Piet Mondrian, is another striking piece within the collection.
A cohesive series that elegantly unites art and wearability.
